Celeste Lebbé

Celeste Lebbé is Professor of Dermatology, head of the Skin Cancer Functional Unit and a doctor at Hôpital Universitaire Saint-Louis, Paris. She is also involved in fundamental research in the fields of angiogenesis and melanoma at the Skin Research Centre (INSERM U976) at Hôpital Saint-Louis.
Pr Lebbé obtained her medical degree from the University of Paris Diderot (Paris 7) and postgraduate studies in Dermatology. She obtained her doctorate in science from the Université Paris Descartes (Paris 5).
She has been an investigator in over 200 clinical trials for the treatment of melanoma, Kaposi’s sarcoma and Merkel’s carcinoma. She is a board member of the European Academy of Dermatology-Oncology
and SCOPE, and a member of several professional associations in the fields of dermatology and oncology.
Pr Lebbé has over 600 peer-reviewed articles to her credit, published in prestigious journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Cancer research, Blood, Plos one, Clinical Cancer Research and The European Journal of Cancer.
